a little bit about me.

Hey y’all. Welcome to my little corner of the universe. I’m so happy that you’re here. I’ll start by saying that I’m a bit of a mutt. Originally born in Southeastern Wisconsin; I lived in WI until my early 20’s when I moved to Austin, TX. Recently, my husband and I returned to the Midwest to be closer to family, but I still service Central Texas often. I like to consider myself a happy combination of midwestern southern (if there is such a thing ha.). I like my seasons, but I also love that hot Texas heat. Ultimately, I try to pretend that I’m a summer soul, but my happy place is somewhere in the mountains wearing snow boots while drinking some Irish Coffee after a long day on the slopes.

Most call me a Wedding Photographer, but I’m also known as a coffee addict, food enthusiast, world traveler and dog lover. Buttered popcorn Jellybeans are my favorite, and I’m THAT person who orders pineapple on her ‘zza.

I have far too many hobbies to keep up with, but I will always enjoy a good Netflix binge with my husband. I’m open to trying anything, but traveling is what feeds my soul. I love to explore local restaurants, new places, National Parks, and coffee shops. Some of my favorite hobbies include snowboarding, paddleboarding, and camping.

My passion for photography began in high school when I obsessively used my father’s digital camera to take images of our family dog. Eventually, I started asking my friends to model for me and carried around my camera to the local county fairs. Usually, I would end up behind my computer screen editing the images I took. I’d play around with the editing sliders having zero idea what their purpose was, but I always figured it out. Looking back, it makes total sense now.

If I’m being honest, I’ve always been a creative individual so I desperately desire that outlet in my life. I still remember the day that I made my decision to quit my full time job, ditch my Master’s Degree and pursue my dream career as a Wedding and Elopement Travel Photographer.

I feel most like myself behind a camera lens. Anyone who knows me well would say that Photography picked me! I love everything about what I do, and I love everyone that I've met along the way. There’s nothing comparable to that fulfilling feeling I have before sending my couple’s their finished wedding galleries. Everything about capturing authentic love filled moments fills my soul, and I hope to spend the rest of my life telling love stories through my lens. I feel so blessed to be able to create lifelong fine art from once in a lifetime moments. It means so much to have the opportunity to create photographs that can be cherished forever.

My mission is to capture YOUR story.

A session and/or wedding with me will be comfortable and a bit silly at times. With an eye for true authentic moments, it is my goal to create timeless, raw, and real photographs that capture your story, love, and mission.

I can’t wait to meet you! Let’s be friends!
